Our words on paper are a part of us, and a gift to those that receive them. An extension of us, our handwriting conveys meaning and creates connection. Dotplaid is dedicated to providing simple handcrafted cards as a means to write to others, share your thoughts, send wishes and stay connected.
Started in 2015 in Southern California, Dotplaid represented my love of both dots and plaid. You can see some of those early samples of my work here, along with some samples of my more current work.
All goods are crafted by hand by me in my small studio in Stillwater MN. I paint and letter each piece myself, creating notes, cards and a variety of paper goods. I use only the highest quality paper and envelopes, paint with small batch inks and dyes, and strive to support other small makers or women owned businesses whenever possible.
Whether hand delivering or sending snail mail, I hope my work inspires you to craft just the right words and share a little of you on paper.
